Why this site exists

Anyone who has tried to send a barrel home knows the hunt. You scroll through Facebook posts and half-finished pages, you ask cousins who they used last spring, you get one price on the phone and a different one at the warehouse. Sometimes the barrel arrives. Sometimes the person who took your money and your Zelle payment simply disappears, and there is no receipt, no address and no one to call.

This site was built to end that hunt. It gathers every real company that ships to Haiti into one calm place, organised by the city you ship from — Miami, New York, Boston, Montreal, Paris, Santiago and more — so you can compare what each company ships, how to reach it, and what it charges when it publishes a price.

Truthful is the rule here. A price appears only where the company itself publishes it. If a company does not publish prices, the page says so plainly instead of guessing. Listings can be claimed and corrected by the companies themselves, for free, so a wrong phone number gets fixed instead of costing a family its shipment.

Searching is free, and listing is free, and that will not change. No company can pay to move up in the list, to hide a competitor, or to make a truthful listing disappear. The small paid pack on this site — a practical guide to shipping without getting burned — is what helps keep the directory free for everyone else.

Whether you are sending food and clothes to family in Port-au-Prince, a car to Cap-Haïtien, or a container of supplies to Miragoâne, you deserve a clear answer before you hand over your money. That clear answer is the whole point of this place.

Ivens grew up watching how much work, money and trust goes into every barrel a family sends home. He built this directory so the next family does not have to start from rumours and screenshots, but from one honest list.
